Kaytee Hoverson is a passion driven social entrepreneur & world traveler who has been on the path of yoga & personal development since the young age of fifteen. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Development with a specialization in Motivational Interviewing and a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Leadership & Management & is an Essential Oil Specialist. She is the founder & leader of Unexpected Moments of Magic Panama, an international volunteer placement organization dedicated to empowering individuals worldwide through the encouragement of self-exploration through social entrepreneurship, volunteerism, philanthropy & yoga as powerful forces for worldwide change. She also owns & operates YiA Yoga Health, Healing & Humanitarian Center. Kaytee’s life motto is “be the change you wish to see in the world” and her goal is to support people in a holistic way to aid in achieving positive change within themselves, while giving back to others. She specializes in teaching Vinyasa Yoga, AcroYoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin/Yang Yoga, Yoga Therapeutics, Thai Yoga Massage & Yoga for Kids & Families. She is a true believer in spreading gratitude, positive thinking & self-love through her practice. She is an enthusiastic citizen of the world & spiritual adventurer having traveled in over 30 countries.


Doris Martinez, E-RYT 200 Certified Therapeutic Yoga Instructor

Doris began her career in health and fitness in 1980.  Over the past 30+ years she has been a Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Pilates Instructor, Master Personal Trainer, and Nutrition Counselor, to name a few.  She started practicing yoga in 1999, received her first Yoga Certification from the American Council on Exercise in 2000, and then went on to complete her Yoga Alliance 200-hour and Therapeutic Yoga Certifications in San Francisco, California. 

Doris enjoys teaching many different types of yoga classes from Yoga Fundamentals to Vinyasa Flow to Yoga for Kids, but her greatest passion is supporting the healing process of individuals through the gifts of Therapeutic Yoga. Through the teachings of Therapeutic Yoga she hopes to help those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness find more ease in their body, peace of mind, and greater levels of health and well-being.


Ari Aaltonen, RYT 200

Ari Aaltonen is a RYT-200 Power Vinyasa Teacher trained by the Happy Jack Yoga team since July 2017. He has been teaching fun but challenging classes in Spain, Portugal, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. He is originally from Finland, but has travelled the world one step at a time since September 2016. Besides yoga, his passions are all kinds of human(and animal ;) movements, calisthenics, functional fitness, rock climbing, and much more!

Ari found yoga to balance out all the Yang type of training (heavy weightlifting in particular) after he had an issue with a dripping blood vein behind the left eye and had to lay off high pressure causing exercises. He found yoga to be still demanding (and thus rewarding), but also very much a healing practice. Yoga has already given Ari a lot more than any other activity, and he wants to share those gifts with you.

Mamie Brisker, RYT 200

Mamie is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor who moved to Boquete in January, 2016 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida with her husband Greg and greyhound, Floyd to follow their dreams and opened La Jungla Experience hostel.  Another dream recently fulfilled was completing Yoga Teacher Training as Mamie has been a yoga enthusiast for 20 years and originally sought out yoga to help strengthen, stretch, and heal her body during and after her college basketball years.   

She now enjoys teaching a Deep Vinyasa Flow that is suitable for all body types and yoga levels ensuring all students leave the mat feeling strong, stable, and restored.
