JOB OVERVIEW

Assits with Website Design, integrates search engine optimization techniques, posts blogs, videos, photos. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in managing website information

  • Helps in making manifest the vision of YiA through creative design

  • Has knowledge on key words to use for marketing purposes

  • Has knowledge of Google and other search engines and how they work

  • Experience working with Squarespace

Social Media & Marketing Intern

JOB OVERVIEW

The Social Media & Marketing Intern leads the strategy & creation of YiA social content & paid media approach.


Responsibilities:

  • Assists in executing social media marketing campaigns -Facebook, You Tube, Twitter, Instagram and other social agencies

  • Builds & forms relationships with studios & teachers within Panama and internationally to offer Yoga Teacher Trainings & YiA Retreats

  • Ensures that marketing materials are placed in key locations throughout Boquete, David & Panama

  • Works with travel agents to organize group events & activities

  • Researches key events happening in Panama for marketing purposes

  • Assists with social integration and management of YiA YOGA brand innovation programs

  • Works with internal social reporting tools to understand industry trends and implement into work

  • Strong understanding of how to build social campaigns

  • Social audience and platform growth and development


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in marketing

  • Highly motivated individual with experience and desire to connect with current and future members

  • Passion for social media and a desire to stay up-to-date with the most relevant thinking and trends in the channel

  • Creative thinker and problem solver

  • Ability to multitask multiple projects

  • Ability to work in collaborative group environment

  • Proactive, self-starter, excellent work ethic.

  • Fully immersed in all major social networks and passionate about them

  • Strong creative and professional writing skills with an emphasis on brevity
